Advice on Treatment:
Forest Retreat Sheds come with a pressure-treated floor and bearers to protect them from rot. This pressure-treated wood does not require retreating. The redwood cladding has been coated in Teknos Aquatop. This is a premium-quality exterior paint, which forms a protective film that is resistant to bacteria, mould, and UV rays. You should reapply Teknos Aquatop every 6 years to maintain its outstanding levels of protection. Also, as part of a proper care and maintenance plan for the roof, we advise applying a suitable cedar cladding oil to the shingles. This should help extend its lifespan from around 30 to 50 years.
